I went to grade school at Croninger in Fort Wayne on Trier Rd. We spent lots of times playing on the playgrounds and I even use to ride my bike over to his mom and dad´s house to visit in Blackhawk. Andy was such a good kind hearted guy and never made fun of anyone. He was a good friend and I still have a
Get Well cards (many of them) from our class during Mrs. Colvin´s made in 1st grade class when I broke my arm and was out sick w/pneumonia. And a valentine that Andy gave me way back then. I was know as Amy Randall ( McCain) and I am glad to know Amy Witmer his wife also from high school I am full of sympathy for finally hearing he has passed, but now he´s in the loving hands and in one of Gods Angels. I pray every day, being the RN I am for so many , but losing friends from far or near is always hard and I pray for your whole family for Gods Blessings of Healing and Hope and Safety and Health to those children growing up to be proud of your father and continue to live uncle Jim and your mother and all your family and friends and people god brings into your lives going forward. Thanks be to god!

Knowing Andy all through my Grade School age up till we graduated High School together, sadden me to know that a dear friend who I use to ride my bicycle through Blackhawk with had passed away. Andy was one of the sweetest & Kindness and never once in all my years of knowing him did he Ever speak ill of anyone. In high school we never really talked much but saying hello in halls or small talk in classes or a greeting each other with a smile was enough. I send this, today with So Much Sympathy to his Brother, and his wife Amy(Witmer) and his parents that even though Andy has left the earthly home he knew here, He now has a place of pure Joy & Love to continue his journey with those in Heaven that God has for his loving children he let bless us that have not been able to join our loved ones yet, because it is not our time. Andy completed his work here as he did blessing each one of us with his kind and gentle soul.
