I, too would like to add to what my sister, Grendia said, by just sharing the sweet memories of the Resevoir Park days and having that security of knowing that the "Brooks" family was right across the street! We know what you're feeling right now and know that the pain in your heart will "lessen" in the years to come, just praise God and hold each other close!

To Deacon Brooks' Family,

Everyone knew and loved Bro. Brooks and it sadden our hearts to hear of his passing. He was a pillar of our church and will be sorely missed. I will hold close to my heart the memories of him leading devotional songs, the personal compliments and comments he would make to me, and the fact that even though he was not always feeling his best he still made his way to the hospital to visit my dad. That meant more than words could ever express. The love of God showed in his words, actions, and smile. A great man of God who was greatly loved, greatly respected, and left a great legacy. My prayers are with you in your time of grief.
