Arnold Mauricio Obituary

ARNOLD G. MAURICIO, 68, died Monday, June 30, 2003, at home in Fort Wayne. Born in Tallulah, La., he worked for American Electric Power for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He was married 46 years and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include wife, Frances Mauricio of Fort Wayne; sons, Arnold Jr. and Mark Mauricio, both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Maria Swinehart, Theresa Love, Rebecca Patterson, and Pauline Mauricio, all of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a sister, Carmen Haines of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Esther Mauricio; a brother, Leon; sisters, Ofelia Dominguez, Ephonia Sanchez, Gloria Quintero and Helen Mauricio. Mass of Christian Burial is 1:30 p.m. today at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2120 S. Harrison, with prayers at 1 p.m., at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to American Diabetes Association, United Farm Workers Union or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
