BARRY A. ROACH

BARRY A. ROACH, 73, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Ind., he was a son of Nadine Roach and the late Charles F. Roach. He graduated from Arcola High School, and proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy. He married his beloved wife, Ann L. (Howenstine) Roach, in 1970 and they just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. He worked at Dana Corporation for 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending his free time volunteering at Cross Boarders, watching his grandkids grow up and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Ann; and three children, Erik (Jodi) Roach, Valerie (Russ) McGregor of Fort Wayne, and Emily (Jason) Zigler of Bryan, Ohio; grandchildren, Libbie, Addison, Isabella, and Taylor Roach, Lucas Drake, Raven, Matthew, Cassie, and Reese McGregor, Allee and LeeAnn Zigler, and two great-grandchildren, Jaxon Page, and Elliott McGregor; mother, Nadine Roach; brother, Charles F. Roach of Kalispell, Mont.; sisters, Trina Caldwell of Fairbanks, Alaska and Rita Roach of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews; and an abundance of dear family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Roach, and brother, Kerry Roach. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Midwest Funeral Home & Cremation Society.
