BENJAMIN EDSALL Obituary

BENJAMIN LARRY EDSALL, 80, of Kendallville, died on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Born April 4, 1932, in Wolf Lake, Ind., he was the son of the late Elza Benjamin Edsall and Ella (Wake-man) Edsall. He graduated from Albion Jefferson High School and married Dorothy Ilene Gienger on June 16, 1951, she preceded him in death. He was a long-time Farmer. He owned Edsall Sales & Service in Kendallville. Survivors include daughters, Cindy Edsall of Kendallville and Deanna (John) Carmichael of Avilla; sons, Steve Edsall of Kings Mountain, N.C. and John Edsall of Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers, Bud Edsall, Rodger (Jeri) Edsall, Terry (Contessa) Edsall and Gary (Carol) Edsall; sisters, Gloria Grimm and Carol Ann Williams; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Travis Thomas Tuffley; and his sister, Betty Jo Beckbarger. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville with Rev. Paul B. Griebel officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Burial in Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
