CAROL GRESLEY Obituary

CAROL ANN GRESLEY, 56, of Hoagland, died on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, 1:02 p.m., at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne following an illness of seven years. Born Sept. 30, 1955, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Violet M. (Poehler) Bohnke of Monroeville and the late Donald F. Bohnke. She married Don C. Gresley on Sept. 22, 1984, at St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen where she was active in the adult choir. She was a 1973 graduate of Heritage High School. Following her graduation from Heritage, she worked toward and received an Associate Degree in Distribution and Marketing from Indiana University. Employed by Star Financial Service, Fort Wayne, as a charge back specialist for bank cards. Also surviving are her husband, Don Gresley of Hoagland; daughter, Kelly Gresley of Carmel, Ind.; son, Matthew Gresley of Hoagland; brother, Dean A. Bohnke and Larry E. (Kathy) Bohnke, both of Monroeville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Gertrude Gresley of Hoagland. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Peter Brock officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Bingen.
