To the Family,
Today, I just read that my Godfather soul was placed to rest. May God continue to hold you close in his arms. Big Daddy and Big Ma were named my God parents when I was a baby and I am now 42. During my adult years I would go by and see them and soon only time existed between us because I did not go for years. After learning of Big Ma soul being placed at rest, I tracked down Big Daddy and only by the grace of God I located my Godfather at VA. I went to see him on numerous occasions, until he was moved and I could not locate him, but during that valuable time spent I loved every minute of it. I thank God for him and Big Ma, I remember so many occasions of getting in the RV and going fishing or gardening in the field next to their home. The Morning breakfast of fried chicken, rice and gravy, biscuits and eggs..oh don't forget Peach pop still makes me smile, even through the tears I shed. Too know Big Daddy died the same day as my dad but 4 years later is very painful but I have another Angel above watching over me.
Until we meet again Big Daddy, continue casting down your love for us and with each bite we can try too heal.
