CHARLES F. CROSBY

CHARLES F. CROSBY, 94, a lifelong resident of Adams County, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Charles was united in marriage to Ruth David on April 18, 1953; she preceded him in death on Sept. 18, 2014 after 61 years of marriage. Surviving are daughter, Deborah M. (Ian) McDonald of Decatur, Ind.; sons, Charles "Butch" (Jill) Crosby of Angola, Ind., and Michael W. (Bonnie) Crosby of Decatur, Ind.; daughter, Diane R. (Charles) Dorantes of Waterford, Mich.; sister, Dorothy Smith of Fort Wayne; brother, James (Anna) Crosby of Ossian, Ind.; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Kay Ann on April 5, 1956; brother, Franklin (Carol) Crosby; infant sister, Katherine Crosby; a sister, Mary (William Kenney, Gilbert Thieme) Thieme; and a brother-in-law: Glen Smith. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2023, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling, with visitation one hour prior.
