CHRISTOPHER E. "CHRIS" ROBERTS

CHRISTOPHER E. "CHRIS" ROBERTS, 31, died Saturday May 4, 2013 at DeKalb Health in Auburn. He was born May 29, 1981 in Fort Wayne, a son of Bobette "Bobbie" (Uehlein) Roberts of Spencer-ville and Stanley E. "Stan" and Jean Roberts of Auburn. Chris was a DeKalb High School graduate and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he worked as a Journalist. He was a member of the New Life Tabernacle in Kendallville and Campus Life. He loved to hunt, fish and the Indianapolis Colts. He is survived by his parents; a son, Christopher of Arizona; and a daughter, Jaedyn of Minnesota; a sister, Alicen M. Roberts of Auburn; and two brothers, Scott A. (Collette) Johnson of Auburn and Chad A. (Vicki) Roberts of Auburn; grandparents, Gene and Virginia Roberts of Auburn and a grandmother, Shirley Stenklyft of Tyler, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Doris Uehlein; his grandfather, Gerald Stenklyft; and his uncle, Jerry Stenklyft, M.D. Funeral service is noon Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Feller & Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn with calling one hour prior. Rev. James Archambeault officiating. Visitation also from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn. Preferred memorials can be directed to the Family.
