CLETIOUS MAE RICKETTS, 77, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Washington DC, Cletious had been a resident of Fort Wayne for 59 years. She was a cook for Fort Wayne Schools. She was a community volunteer and enjoyed working with children. Surviving are her children, Veda Lynn Cotton, Patricia Ann Ricketts, George H. Ricketts, Anthony Wine Ricketts, Robert Ricketts, Marie Ricketts, Bernard Stanley Ricketts, Earina Rickets, and Nicholas Grady, all of Fort Wayne; sister, Phyllis Elliott; brother, Tyrone Hamilton; 27 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by her father, Edgar White Sr.; mother, Corrine Hamilton; brother, Edgar White Jr.; and sister, Dolores Holmes. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, at the funeral home.
