CLIFFORD J. TEDERS

CLIFFORD J. TEDERS, 78, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Avilla, he was a U.S.Army veteran and worked as a welder with Dana Corp for 41 years, retiring in 1994 and also an umpire for the Fort Wayne Umpire Association for over 20 years. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne Turners, Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 47. He loved playing Euchre, was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed being an usher for the University of Notre Dame Football games. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Teders; daughters , Laurie (Greg) Bowers of New Haven and Jane Teders of Fort Wayne; son, Mark (Shelly) Teders of Cape Coral, Fla.; grandchildren, Kayla and Nathan Bowers, Peyton and Jordynn Teders; and sister, Joan Houser of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Catherine Teders; two sisters; and two brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Fr. James Kumbakkeel officiating. Calling also from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at D.O.
