DANIEL G. BANDOR

DANIEL G. BANDOR, 84, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022. He was the youngest child of the late Michael and Bessie [Bolin] Bandor. He proudly served an enlistment in the U.S. Navy and had a long career in the Fort Wayne Police Department before retiring in 2005 with 33 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nola (Roberson) Bandor; sons, Joe (Julie) Bandor of Fort Wayne and Michael (Dawn) Bandor; two grandchildren, Daniel Bandor and Hope (Liam) Murphy; two great- grandchildren, Eli and Lucy Murphy all of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Frank Bandor and Randy (Jan) Bandor, both of Fort Wayne; and sister-in-law, Carole (Peters) Bandor of Fort Wayne; and brother-in-law Rudy Soltesz of Melbourne, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, five sisters, and two nephews. Service is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at FairHaven Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling from 1 p.m. until the service. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on his behalf to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1636 St. Mary's Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46808, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
