Della M. Flores

Della M. Flores, 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on December 4, 2025, she was born on September 15, 1943, in Oneida, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ruth (Jervis) Wagers. She began working in the Fort Wayne area at Lincoln Life Insurance Company before spending 24 years at the Allen County Building Department. She also spent 32 years as the co-owner of JD Sound Revue along with her husband. Surviving family include her son, Bryan Flores (Lupita Lule); grandson, Zachary Flores; brother, Ezra Wagers; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Della was preceded in passing by her husband, Joe Flores; daughter, Delena Flores; sisters, Donna Hoskins, and Alema Harris; and brother, Freddy Wagers. A funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne, Ohio. Memorials in Della's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
