Met for the first time around 2017 Diane Burch and her husband Jerry Burch. My mom, sister, and I were invited to visit Diane and Jerry by Sharon ( the sister of Jerry and sister-in-law of Diane). We had not too long met for the first time Sharon who is a cousin connected by the grandmothers of my mom and her mom who were sisters and my mom´s grandmother took Sharon´s mom and her sister in when they were in their teens after their mom passed. So it was special and enjoyable discovering a new found cousin in Sharon. We began putting together ancestry info and this was an occasion to follow up with our family information visiting her brother Jerry and his wife Diane. We were made very welcome and I was in awe of Diane´s yard and garden. I took several photos and when I returned home, put together a slide show of Burch Garden from this visit and shared it with them. It will be a wonderful remembrance of them and the love and labor Diane accomplished with her beautiful garden which represented her beautiful personality and presence.We send our prayers of comfort for Jerry and all family and friends who will miss her love, giving, and vitality.

Jerry, Megan, I am so sorry for your loss. Diane was a lovely, funny, kind person. I will always remember her smile, her beautiful garden with its green lawn and all the moments spent in Fort Wayne with you all.

Blessings and peace to my childhood friend and her husband, Jerry. I am still shocked to hear of your passing. I don´t know how I would have known of your illness as I seldom contacted you. What a fool I have been. Hope you are resting peacefully. I miss the many memories from Memorial Pool to my visit with you in Florida.

I worked at LNB with Diane over 50 years ago. She gave me my first loan at the time when most loan officers were men. When she moved from the city, she met my relative through her relative.
We met up again at Parkview volunteering.

I had the pleasure of knowing Diane while I was working for her dentist for 38 years. She was a blessing to talk to and was always in a good mood, even at the dentist office. I'm praying for comfort and peace for her family at this time.
