DORIS MAY KOPECKY

DORIS MAY KOPECKY, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011,at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Maybelle Koch. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and was also active in the Three Five Club. She enjoyed playing bridge and socializing with many local groups. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and relaxing at the lake. She is survived by sons, Frank (Cris) Kopecky and Scott (Marilyn) Kopecky, both of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, Kaylin and Bradley. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Frank D. Kopecky, in Dec. 2010. Service is noon Monday, April 18, 2011, at Salem United Church of Christ, 2401 Lake Ave., with calling two hours prior to service. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
