DOUGLAS M. BARTH, 56, of Auburn, went to Heaven on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born Dec. 26, 1953, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, he was a Deacon at First Christian Church, Auburn where he deepened his spiritual guidance and comfort. He was an avid motorcyclist, making frequent trips throughout the United States and Canada, enjoying the open road and culinary delights of both. He also enjoyed many sports, closely following the Cleveland Browns, Indians and never missing a Fort Wayne Komets home game. He never met a stranger in his 20+ years with Classic Products Corp, Fort Wayne as an over the road salesman and eventually the vice president of sales where he is well respected by all in the bowling industry. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Debra J. (Kelly) Barth; daughter, Angela (David) Hartman of Garrett; mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Gene Baughman of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; twin sister, Deb (Dale) Woods of Delaware, Ohio and sister, Pam and (Mike) Dick of New Bremen, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and three grand, dogs. A celebration of life is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Pinnington-McComb Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main Street, Auburn, with calling one hour prior.
