Dear Steve, Linda, and Family,

We are so sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry I can't be there to help comfort you in your hours of need. I think God placed us together at the hospital to help each other, and I wish I could have done more.

Even though we won't be there, please know you are never far from our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. I hope your good memories will eventually replace these past few days of pain, sadness, and depression. Take good care of yourselves and know you were the very best parents Eric could ever have had.

Dear Steve, Linda, Jamie, and Missy,

I was so shocked to hear of Eric's passing. No words can even begin to express the depth of your loss or even begin to bring comfort. Know that Eric will be missed by many good friends who share good memories of times well spent together.

Steve, Linda, Jamie and Missy,

I was shocked to hear of Eric's passing. I am glad I was able to get to know Eric and your family. He spent a lot of time with my family and I considered him my friend too. He was the big brother I never had. Not a lot of guys allow their girlfriend's little sister to tag along but he always did. I will remember his kindness and gentle spirit. You are in my thoughts.
