Mr. parks was my U. S . History teacher and coach at Chester Center High School. I remember many of his words of wisdom and war stories. He was a good teacher and friend who would take us to ball games and even let us drive his car home from practice. My prayers are with you in this time of loss.

Mr. Parks was a godly pillar of strength to me when I desperately longed to see that being a Follower of Jesus was everything and affected everything in ones life. I have loved and admired him all these years. Loved his laugh, and hearing his "Hi! Becky!". So thankful he made the extreme effort to attend our little North Elkhart reunion in Kendallville in March this year! He was slipping but still that smile! and laugh, and always the loving concern to always be kind! Thank you, Virgie for getting him there, and for always showing honor to Mr Parks!

I am so sorry to hear of Everett's passing. I know he is heaven with our good Lord. I bet my Harold was one of the many waiting at Heaven's Gate for him. Everett was the BEST Sunday School teacher I ever had. He made me think, then stand up for what I believed. He will truly be missed on this earth.
May our Lord give each of you His grace as you go on without Everett.
Each of you are in my prayers. Especially you Virgie.
God Bless each of you,
Cathy Hartman and family.
(Sorry I cannot attend the services. After many complications I'm back doing radiation and cannot reschedule at this time-each of you are in my prayers!)

Sorry to hear of Mr. Parks passing. I remember when Ed Stohlman passed away and he sang "Amazing Grace", it was awesome. Also, he was principal when we went to Wolf Lake for Jr. High. Good memories.
