FAYE C. WEBB, 73, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 2:10 a.m., at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born Oct. 25, 1947, in West Chester, Pa., she was the daughter of Ellis P. and Anna M. (Glauner) Cunningham. She graduated from West Chester High School with the Class of 1965 and attended Indiana University. In 1990, she and her wife moved to Columbia City, Ind. Faye worked in Information Technology for Lincoln Financial Group in Fort Wayne for 22 years, retiring in 2002. She played the saxophone throughout her life and played in the Fort Wayne Community Band, New Horizons Band and the Auburn Community Band. She loved music and enjoyed entertaining and cooking for her family and friends. Faye also loved to travel throughout the U.S., Europe, Scotland and England. Faye is survived by her loving wife and best friend of over 40 years, Shari May; daughters, Michelle (Dan) Becker and Kimberly Giamportone; grandchildren, Pierce and Kyle "Sage" Giamportone and Jessica and Joseph Becker; sisters, Ronnie Taylor, Joan (James) Aberts, Eleanor (James) Pavlik, Patti-Jo (James) Ketterman, Lorna (Ed) Dzialo, and Lynne (Tom) Tatum; and brothers, John (Connie) Cunningham and Glenn (Susan) Cunningham; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews (all adorable and above average). She was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved grandson, Ryan Giamportone. A private family service will be held for Faye. A memorial service will follow. Burial in Grove Methodist Cemetery, West Chester, Pa. Memorial donations may be given in memory to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, Albion, Ind., or Fort Wayne Community Band, Fort Wayne, Ind. My deepest condolences. What a lovely and gregarious woman she was. I can hear her contagious laugh in my mind. This is a great loss, but how fortunate we all are to have known her.
