FRANCIS SPIETH Obituary

FRANCIS J. SPIETH, 87, of Fort Wayne, went home to the his Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022. He was born on Jan. 23, 1935, in Fort Wayne. He was a member of St. Louis Besancon and Knights of Columbus-3rd Degree. Francis is survived by daughters, Linda Reinsch and Jacquelene (Jeffrey) Finton; son, Timothy (Michelle) Spieth; brothers, Bernard and Donald (Maria) Spieth; sisters, Margie Schleinkofer, Patricia (Michael) Kramer and Rita (Thomas Sr.) Walker; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Francis was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand and Marcella; brothers, Joseph, Walter, James, Larry, and Herman; sister, Mary Royal; and grandson, Christopher VanAttenhoven. Mass of the Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, 15535 Lincoln Hwy East, New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with a Rosary service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Besancon Cemetery, New Haven.
