Dear Etta & the Entire Walker Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you this week. I am convinced, like most people who knew your mother that she knew him as her personal savior. As Christians, I hope we never let an opportunity pass us up to make sure that every family member, friend, acquaintance, and stranger we come in contact with knows that Jesus loves them, and he is the only way to an eternal existence. Etta, I love you and pray that the Comforter will give you and your family the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippines 4:6-8) in your time of bereavement. Be blessed and celebrate the life of a fellow sister in Christ for she has crossed over from death to life (John 5:24).

Love Kim (Hides) Reuille & family

Thank you all so much for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. Death for Hazel, Mom, my best friend is not a dark journey into the unknown. It is not a lonely walk into a strange and friendless place. Rather, it is a glorious transition from the trials of earth into the joys of heaven, where she will be reunited with her loved ones in Christ who have gone before. Best of all, she will enjoy the presence of our Lord forever. Oh, how blessed is the promise when her spirit was set free, to be absent from the body means to live, O Lord, with Thee. For the Christian, death is the doorway to Glory.

To the family of Hazel Walker ,

As I reflect back to growing up on Wabash Ave., I think about your mom and how hard she worked to provide for her family.

Please know that God is all loving, kind and wise. Trust, believe and know that your mother is safe in his arms.
