HERMAN OSTERHOLT Obituary

HERMAN H. OSTERHOLT, 81, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, in his home at Lake Everett. A Fort Recovery, Ohio native, he formerly worked at Essex Wire, and retired in 1989 from Pease Wind-A-Matic, Huntertown. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Churubusco. Surviving are his wife, Jeanette (Homan) Osterholt; whom he married on May 7, 1960, in St. Anthony, Ohio; children, Mark G. Osterholt, Catherine Osterholt, Susan (Wendell) Fromm, and Marie (Shawn) Perrella; brother, Leo (Dee Dee) Osterholt; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Ben J. and Johanna (Wenning) Osterholt; a son, Henry Osterholt, in 1997; brothers, Aloysius, Walter, Anthony and Edward; and sisters, Rose Lothamer and Catherine Fortman. Mass of Christian Burial is 2 p. m. Monday at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Churubusco. Father Daniel Leeuw and Father Danny Pinto officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco, with a rosary service at 6 p.m. Burial in Ege Catholic Cemetery, Noble County. Memorials to Masses or Goshen Center For Cancer Care. Online condolences at www.sheetsandchilds.net
