JAMES FAZZARO Obituary
DR. JAMES MICHAEL FAZZARO, 81, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Jersey City, N.J., he served in the Army from 1951 to 1953 and was a Korean War veteran. He earned his undergraduate degree and PhD from Rutgers University. He was a clinical psychologist with a specialty certification in neuropsycho-logy at V.A. Hospital, Lyons, N.J., retiring after 28 years in 1998. Surviving are his spouse, Elaine Fazzaro of Fort Wayne; sons, James Matthew Fazzaro of Somerville, N.J. and Jonathan (Amanda) Fazzaro of Fort Wayne; sisters, Mary Cugliari of York, Pa., Margaret Lozano of Hamilton Square, N.J.; grandchildren, Joseph Michael Fazzaro and Anelise Marie Fazzaro. He was preceded in death by parents, Dominick (Josephine) Fazzaro; and brother, Dr. Robert Fazzaro. Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 7308 St. Joe Road, with the Rev. Dan Layden officiating. Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. Memorials may be made to St. Alban's Episcopal Church or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. To Elaine and the kids, We enjoyed all those great lunches and visits with Jim--lots of talk about current events, history and traded stories about the loves of our lives---the children and grandchildren--family always ranked high with Jim and we want you to know how sorry we are for your loss

To the Fazzaro Family- My deepest sympathy to your family. I so remember the good doctor when he was my neighbor on Chestnut St., Bradley Gardens so many years ago. My God grant you comfort at this time of sorrow. Jim will be remembered in my prayers.
