Janet Brattain Obituary

Janet Kay (Fowler) Brattain, 85, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away with family at her side on Tuesday June 17, 2025, Born in Fort Wayne, she worked in Market Research. "Losing her is a great loss and has left a hole in our hearts that will never be filled." She was preceded in death by her best friend and soulmate of 47 years, Donald Brattain in 2011, a son, John Brattain and an infant son. She leaves many precious memories to her surviving children, Sue Brattain-Moore, and Michael (Tammy) Brattain; and grandchildren, Taya, Krystel, Carrielyn, Adam, Robert, Spencer, Kelsey, and Mallory. A Celebration of Janet's Life will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 26, 2025, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road (46815), with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4:00 -6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Project Mercy. Fond memories may be shared at www.mccombandsons.com for the family.
