JANET DAVIS Obituary

JANET E. DAVIS, 73, of Huntertown, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born on Aug. 7, 1937, in Fort Wayne. She was employed with Bank One. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and it's Priscilla Circle club. She was an avid Bridge player. She is survived by her husband, Jack L. Davis of Huntertown; son, Jeff (Lisa) Davis of Fort Wayne; daughter, Jamie (Tim) Fagan of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Jessica Davis and Sarah (Forrest) Bishop; and two sisters, Norma (Henry) Martin of Columbia City and Nancy (Richard) Lee of New Haven. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Selma Favory; and two brothers, Raymond and Clark Favory. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 729 W. Washington Blvd., with calling one hour prior. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. Burial in St John Lutheran Cemetery.
