JANET RUTH FIALA

JANET RUTH FIALA, 82, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021. Born in Chicago, Ill., Janet was the daughter of the late William and Ruth Robertson. Janet worked at Swedish Covenant Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist for many years, prior to her retirement in 1996. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing needlepoint crafts for family and friends. Surviving are her siblings, Mary Grove and Donald (Sandy) Robertson; nieces and nephews, Gary Grove, Barbara (Rick) Crisostomo, Rhonda Jahn, and Shane Robertson. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Hank Fiala. Service is 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2021, at FairHaven Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, Ind. Memorials may be made to Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control, Paralyzed Hoosier Vets; or Mouston Bethany Lutheran Church.
