JARRED M. RUHL, 24, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Jarred served his country as a member of the U.S. Army 82nd AirBorne Division (Honey Badgers) for five years and was deployed several months in Afghanistan. He loved his Brothers in Arms, and he missed them. Following his time in the Army, Jarred worked with Schust Engineering. He loved spending time with his friends and playing Tibia. Surviving are his parents, Dustin and Laura Myers of Fort Wayne; brother, Mason Work of Fort Wayne; and sister, Sklyer Myers of Fort Wayne; grandmother, Dorothy Hough of Fort Wayne; and grandparents, James and Geraldine Myers of LaOtto, Ind. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Hough. Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the funeral home.
