JEAN H. KINDER

1928 - 2022

JEAN H. KINDER, 94, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Saint Anne Communities, Fort Wayne, surrounded by her loving family. Born Feb. 7, 1928, in Milwaukee, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Corcoran) Kannenberg. She married James P. Kinder on Feb. 20, 1954; he preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2019. She was a long-time member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Jean was most happy when she was with her family. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was one of the most selfless servants that God has ever put on this earth. No matter what her own condition may have been, her response to any inquiry as to how she was doing was always... "fine". "Jean will be missed dearly by the family that she so loved, but we will all be comforted knowing that she is once again re-united with her dear, husband Jim. They will now be forever together with other family and friends who have gone before them in our Heavenly Father's eternal home." She is survived by her sons, Joe (Sharon) Kinder of Fort Wayne and Dan (Angela) Kinder of Huntertown; daughters, Deborah (Mark) Petersen of Fishers, Susan Keeler and Pamela Jensen, both of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her son-in-law, William Jensen; and sister, Mary Kend. Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
