John Neff Obituary
current hometown in Toledo, OH on March 25, 2024, due to ongoing health complications. He was born 8/26/48 in Ft. Wayne IN - the son of Wilma and "Woody" Neff of the Woody Neff orchestra - popular in the region during the 1950's and 1960's.
A graduate of North Side High School in 1966 Ft. Wayne, IN, he started his career in transportation sales in Lima, OH in 1972, then to Cincinnati, before moving to Toledo, OH in 1978 where he spent the rest of his life working in a variety of sales positions. He retired in 2008 due to health complications.
He's survived by his 3 sons: Matt and Mark of Toledo, OH and Erik of Orlando, FL.
His final resting place will be with his parents in Ft. Wayne, IN at a later date.

John was my cousin. We were about the same age. I recall visiting his family when I was about 12. We knew him as Johnny Neff. He took me to a soda fountain and bought me a cherry coke. New experience for me.
In looking through old photos I see that Johnny and Aunt Wilma came to Dallas for my wedding. We were too far apart, in our lives. I regret not knowing him better.
