Joseph U. Lahr

Joseph U. Lahr, 91, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, the only child of Shaler and Rose (Converset) Lahr born February 17, 1934 in Huntington. He attended Central Catholic HS and was a BF Goodrich retiree. He could build or fix anything – houses, cars, appliances, boats. Joe was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family, at the lake, travelling, working in his yard or workshop. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Patricia Lahr; children, Jolene (Richard) Marschand, Marilyn Lahr, Kathy (Tony deceased) Gonya, granddaughters, Aimee (Jason) Slone, Jennifer (Michael) Domenico, Julie (Justin) York, Georgia Lahr; his one and only grandson Joey Marschand and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father in-law Tempa and George Parks, son-in-law, Anthony "Tony" Gonya. Life celebration at a later date.
