Julia Potts Obituary

The following obituary is being republished to provide additional information. JULIA A. POTTS, 54, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born July 20, 1950, in Fort Wayne. Her father is Kenneth Wayne Potts Sr. of Harlan, and her mother is Ilene (Cunningham) Leardi of Indianapolis. Other survivors include a daughter, Candace A. Potts of Fort Wayne; stepfather, Gene Leardi of Indianapolis; six brothers, Kenny Wayne Potts Jr. and Robert A. Potts, both of New Haven, Jack L. Potts of Harlan, Kenny C. Potts of Fort Wayne, and Ricky Leardi and Johnny Leardi, both of Indianapolis; six sisters, Barbie Potts of Fort Wayne, Bonnie Halsey of Woodburn, Vicky L. Doyle and Nita R. Grueb, both of New Haven, Lisa Sharpe of Indianapolis, and Tina Brown of Harlan; three grandchildren, Carina A. Potts, Gradesham M. Potts and Grady L. Sullivan III. She had been a machinist for White Electronic Design in Fort Wayne for 27 years. Service is 7 p.m. today at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation from 4 p.m. until service time. Memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of Candace Potts.
