Julia Ann Singh

JULIA ANN SINGH, 69, of Rome City, Ind., formerly of Clearmont, Mo., along with her sisters, Alma Jean Morris and Inez Honan, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in an auto accident. She was the daughter of Len Curtis and Bessie Clara (Lyle) Daise; who along with her brother, Robert, preceded her in death. Julia Ann Singh was born on July 21, 1938, in Clearmont, Mo. She graduated from Clearmont High School in 1955. In 1959, she received a BA in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, and later a Masters in Education, from Indiana-Purdue University. She married Mahesh "Mike" Singh on Nov. 18, 1962, in Clearmont, Mo. Julia worked for Lincoln National Life Insurance Company in Fort Wayne. She is survived by her husband, Mahesh Singh, of their home; sons and their spouses, Raj and Melissa Singh of San Jose, Calif., and Dave and Ellen Singh of Edwardsville, Ill.; and grandchildren, Zoe, Eden, Katelyn, Michael and Anna Singh. Memorial service is 3 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, at United Methodist Church in Rome City. Memorials to United Methodist Church, 297 Washington Street, Rome City, IN 46784, in Julia's name.
