Kate was such a blessing, she worked so well with my son now a senior when he was at Miami 6-8 and very much a knucklehead. His brother was lucky to have met her last year. I learned today of her passing at registration. I'm deeply saddened. She impacted so many young people as well as earning the respect of so many adults. Heaven called home an amazing women and while I know this is devastating for her family I hope you find comfort in all of the memories you have as well as hearing how much she touched and impacted the lives of others. I met Kate on several occasions, she was a kind, gentle, sweet but firm woman. I feel grateful to her for the help with my daughter
