I only knew Katie for about 10 months since my mother, Laura Boyer, is also a resident of Park Place Memory Care, but I was very fond of her, and I'm sure many other residents and staff there were as well. I especially remember her "perking up" and singing along to songs being played on the piano. She knew every word and had a surprisingly good singing voice! She had a sweetness about her and always seemed contented. It's nice to learn more about her through this obituary. My sincere condolences to her family.

Katie and Bob were neighbors of ours on Glenwood for years. Some of the best we have ever had. So sorry they are both gone. We loved watching them go out in their square dancing clothes. She will be missed by many.
