Kathleen Olson

Kathleen "Pinky" Olson, passed away on February 9, 2025, Kathleen has been a resident of Groveland, Florida since 2014 when she and her immediate family relocated from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on April 25, 1945, to the late George and Ramona Welch in Fort Wayne. She drove a bus for Fort Wayne Community Schools transporting handicapped children. She has worked for Belmont Beverage since 1990, doing video surveillance security work. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Michael; daughter, Lisa Winslow; son, Christopher (Tami) Olson; six granddaughters, Meghan Olson (Jason), Jessica Winslow, Bryanna Manzoli (Taylor), Kaitlyn Winslow (Cara), Taylor Holguin (Isaiah), and Amanda Winslow (Will); six great-grandchildren, Raiden, Amaya, Evelynn, Mia, Zoey, and Addison; and siblings, Patrick Welch and Sharon Gilford. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 10 a.m. at The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Fort Wayne with calling from 9 a.m. until the start of Mass. Following Mass, Kathleen will be interred at Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Mastodon Alumni Center across from the Coliseum.
