Linda Dent Obituary

Linda D. Dent, of Auburn, IN, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, of a blood infection. Linda was an elementary school teacher until her retirement from Fort Wayne Community Schools. An Auburn resident, she was vibrant until the day she was hospitalized, including tent camping each summer at race tracks as a member of the Sports Car Club of America. She joined SCCA in 1966; she and her late husband Larry were inducted into the SCCA National Hall of Fame in 2017. Linda's other passions were quilting, gardening, her cats, and volunteering for Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana. Memorials can be made to H.O.P.E. for Animals, Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, or Soar'n Hawks Raptor Rehabilitation Center. No services will be held.
