LUIS BEJARANO Obituary

LUIS R. BEJARANO, 94, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in San Fernando, Tam aulipas, Mexico, He moved to Ft. Wayne in 1947 and retired in the early 1990's from Acme Disposal Service. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved gardening, construction, working outdoors and was very helpful around the house. He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Maria G. Bejarano; daughter, Evangelina G. Robles of Ft. Wayne; grandson, Emilio G. Robles Jr. of Chicago; brother, Abdon Bejarano of Huston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Luis was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Ave., with calling an hour prior. Fr. Timothy Wrozek officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with a 3:45 p.m. Vigil on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at Mungovan and Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 South Calhoun St. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or American Cancer Society.
