MARY MOORMAN Obituary

MARY JANE MOORMAN, 90 of Fort Wayne, passed away Feb. 17, 2011, at home. She worked for Wayne Pump and Recht & Recht Reality, and volunteered at GTE Telephone Museum, RSVP and American Cancer Society making bandages. A lover of music, she sang with Southmore Mother Singers and Sweet Adelines. She wintered in Sebring, Fla. for many years. She is survived by her sister Ruth Doxsee; daughter, Linda B. Miller; son, Timothy R. Moorman; two grandsons, Joel T. (Niki) Moorman and Adam Moorman; great-grandson, Theo in Chicago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Moorman; parents, Veronica Bisson and Earl James Smith; siblings, Wayne Smith, Alyce Miller and Bertha Bashore. Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church, 1232 Crescent Avenue, with calling one hour prior, with the Rev. James Evans officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Fund and Cancer Services of N.E.
