We worked with Maury for several years at Phelps Dodge in the shipping dept. and we now work with Terry here at SDI. Brad: Kevin and I surely were with you and your dad at several Reds/Cubs games back in the 80's!! He sure was proud of you. We just now heard of Maury's passing and small world though it's turned out to be, the world was made larger for all (literally!!) with him in it. Many good memories - he got me hooked on gummy bears, taught me how to "hook", and most of all, shared his great love of country and family. We send our heartfelt condolences but know many, many memories fill the hole he left. May God bless. Kevin & Missy Bradtmueller

Thank you for all the memories, Maury. Whether we were playing a round of golf, or suffering through countless little league games, you did the most important thing-you were there. I always had the utmost respect for your service to, and love for, our country. I'll be forever grateful for your love and care for my Mom. You will be missed. Until I see and laugh with you again....Love, Mark Ed II

I enjoyed all the times I got to spend with you, Maury. Whether it was playing golf, or watching one of the countless little league games that you suffered through to show your support for the family you joined when you married my Mom. I'll always respect you immensely for your service to, and love for, our country. Thank you for being such a loving husband to my Mom. I'll be forever grateful to have know you and had you in my life. Until I get to see you again, I'll be remembering you-and missing you. Love, Mark Ed II

SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT MAURY'S PASSING. MY TWIN BROTHER AND I GREW UP ON OLIVER ST. A FEW HOUSES DOWN FROM MAURY AND TERRY. GREAT MEMORIES OF MAURY'S FOLKS TAKING US TO THE LAKE IN THE SUMMER AND JUST PLAYING OUTSIDE ALL THOSE WARM NIGHTS. MAURY WAS IN VIETNAM WITH MY BROTHER, LARRY WHILE I WAS IN GERMANY. HE CAME TO VISIT ME IN 1968 WHEN I WAS IN THE ARMY AT FT. GORDON. AND IT WAS AN HONOR TO HAVE MAURY AS A GROOMSMAN IN OUR WEDDING 40 YEARS AGO. I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU BUDDY. GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY AS I KNOW THEY ALL MISS YOU. LOVE, GARY & MARTI ZIMMERMAN FORT WAYNE

You inspired me, your courage gave a new definition to my life. I'm so blessed you called me "kid" and welcomed me into the family! You are a true warrior and a man of great valor! You never complained...you did not loose the fight BUT conquered IT victoriously with a smile and love especially for Sue, family and friends too. We will miss you "big daddy"!!

You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. You did your part and you fought until the very end, now I will do my part and I will be here for Mom. Rest in peace Maury. I Love you.

Maury, you will be missed. Although we had a bumpy road to start things off, over the years I grew to appreciate you and agreed with many of your ideals. Thank you for your service to our country. I am so thankful that you and mom found your happiness in Branson. Thank you for being a good provider and husband to Mom, and for being there for Justin in such a big way. With the decision you made in your last days, I am sure I will see you again some day! So, until then, You are gone, but not forgotten, "and everything else".
