MICHAEL D. ROGERS, 55, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Fort Wayne. Born Oct. 21, 1967, he was a son of Harold and Martha Jane Rogers. Michael was a a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a dedicated Transportation Supervisor at TFE, for 12 years, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Michael's warm personality and infectious humor were cherished by everyone who knew him. He had an unwavering love for his family, and his devotion to his wife Nikki, son, Michael A. Rogers, daughter Hannah N. Rogers, granddaughter Amalia Ratledge, and grandson, Atlas Rogers, was immeasurable. His music and sense of humor were a source of joy for all, and he always went out of his way to brighten someone's day with a song or a joke. Michael is survived by his wife, Nikki Rogers; son, Michael A. Rogers; daughter, Hannah N. Rogers; granddaughter, Amalia Ratledge; grandson, Atlas Rogers; and sister, BethAnn Weiner. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Rogers; mother, Martha Jane Rogers; and sister, Amy Rogers. Service is 3 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Midwest Funeral Home, with a viewing from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to service. The family requests that memorials be sent to them. "Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him."
