Mildred Kraft Obituary

Mildred M. Kraft, 94, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on July 21, 2024, she was born in Fort Wayne on January 5, 1930 to the late Roland and Florence (Hafner) Ross. Mildred enjoyed sewing, quilt stitching, and crafting. She also enjoyed putting together puzzles, traveling and spending time with her family. Mildred is survived by her children, Sharon (Al) Simmers, Ruth (John) Hoke, John (Dawn) Kraft, Barbara (Joe) Exum, and Gerold Jr. (Dawn) Kraft; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in passing by her husband of 57 years, Gerold Kraft; daughter, Loretta (Bruce) Eamich; and brother, Franklin Ross. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Roanoke Baptist Church, 11015 Lafayette Center Road, Roanoke, Indiana 46783 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809. Burial to follow the service at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Contributions in Mildred's memory may be made to the Roanoke Baptist Church School Scholarship Fund.
