NANCY F. ARCHER, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021. Born in Scobey, Mt., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Cecil Ferguson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Bach Collegium, sang in the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and played in a local polka band. Nancy was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Archer; sister, Cynthia Schuneman; and more recently her companion, George Johnson. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Mrs. Archer was one of those teachers (at Forest Park) you never forget. She cared and it showed. I can honestly speak for all of her former "Braves" she was one of a kind. Music and Art should always be apart of school, especially at a young. She will not be forgotten, that much I promise. Thank you Mrs. Archer!

I remember Mrs. Archer fondly as my elementary Music teacher in the early 90s. Her passion bubbles up in my mind whenever I hear "Don't fence me in" or see an Autoharp. She leaves a Legacy in the love of music she instilled in so many little minds!
