PEGGY LEE BROWN, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021. She was born on July 4, 1948, in Pendle ton. She enjoyed playing dice, dominoes and cards. She liked to go fishing, watching old western shows, and reruns of Andy Griffith, Wheel of Fortune and Judge Judy, and loved listening to old country music. She is survived by Cletis Shelton; five children, Tina (Richard) Trigg, Regina (Calvin) Shears, Lucinda (Buddy) Decker, Wiley (Ashley) Brown Jr., and Wylie (Jonathan, Sarah) Volz; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandkids; three step-children, Amy Hayslett, Cletis Shelton Jr., and Lisa Shelton; nine step grandchildren; and brother, John Shannon. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Wiley Brown Sr.; son-in-law, Richard Trigg; grandson, Scotty; two great-grandsons, Rj and Carter; mother, Viola Mae (Sanders) Shannon; father, John Robert Shannon; four sisters, and six brothers. Service is 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46804), with showing from 11a.m. to 1 p.m.
