PHILIP HARTMAN Obituary

PHILIP J. HARTMAN, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018. Born Aug. 17, 1940, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Richard and Vera (Adams) Hartman. Phil graduated from Central Catholic High School Class of 1958. He was a tavern owner for over 30 years. Phil is survived by his daughters, Mary Beth Hartman, Karen Weller, Julie Hartman, and Dianne (Donnie) Mullens; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Patricia Hoeppner, Marolyn (Leon) Krauss and Carolyn (Dale) Snyder; and a host of family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Hartman; and brothers, Jack and Tom Hartman. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne (IN 46808), with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tuition Assistance or Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
