RAY CAUDILL Obituary

RAY PRESTON CAUDILL, 87, of New Haven, Ind., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021. Ray was born on Dec. 15, 1933 in Galax, Va. Ray served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1961 when he was honorably discharged. He was a career Construction Supervisor for many years. He was an avid outdoorsmen, huntsmen and fishermen. Ray enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife of 64 years and love of his life, Elane Caudill; children, Phyllis Barkley, Darrell (Heather) Caudill, Lora (Michael) Theveny, and Scott Caudill; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren (with one on the way); siblings, Pearl Whitt and Juanita Miller; one sister-in-law, Helen Caudill; and many nieces and nephews. By Ray's request, there will be no publics services held. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
