RICHARD A. "RICK" TESSO

RICHARD A. "RICK" TESSO, 54, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, July 22, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, due to injuries resulting from a motorcycle/auto accident on June 17, 2011. Born Aug. 14, 1956, in Crestline, Ohio, he was the son of Joseph M. Tesso of Crestline and Dorothy (Sutton) Harris and Billy Harris of Fort Wayne. He had lived in Fort Wayne for the last 18 years, having moved from Kentucky. He worked at Dimension Ford, Fort Wayne, in the Parts Department for 16 years. He loved to ride his motorcycle. He loved football and especially making wagers on it at work. He enjoyed going to the casinos, watching the horses, playing the machines and loved Bingo. He would come home from work and play with his awesome dog, Harley. He had fun playing jokes on people, both at home and at work. With his girlfriend living in Australia, they kept in close contact with phone calls that lasted for hours and hours. He is survived by his two brothers, Lee Blanton of Michigan City, Ind., Robert Harris of Angola; five sisters, Debby Adams and Teresa M. Tesso, both of Fort Wayne, Carol (Wendell) Kirgis of Crestline, Earlena Blanton of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Marsha Harris of Fort Wayne; nieces and nephews, Cody and Tiffany Fisher and Avery Cook, all of Fort Wayne, Tyler Blanton of Ann Arbor, Mich.; many aunts, uncles and cousins in Crestline; and his girlfriend, Albina Curico of Melbourne, Australia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Lena Tesso. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline, with the Rev. Michael A. Geiger officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, July 26, 2011, at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline, with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. and with Deacon Bill Horning officiating. Burial will follow Mass in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Crestline.
