You never got to see me get married or graduate from college. I'm a professional photographer now, all thanks to you and the times you spent teaching me how to use a camera. Sometime I start an email to you to show you my newest work. Sometimes I hit send even though you'll never read it. Love you so much.

I am so sorry to just now learn of the passing of Dr. Bahr. I was a former employee of First Care and will always remember not only his great ability as a physician, but his incredible humor. I have and will continue to cherish the woodworking piece he made and I received one year at our office Christmas party.

We had many good times with Bob, both as our doctor and as a friend. We enjoyed dancing and had fun having him down to Turkey Run State Park to dance and hike. We will miss him greatly.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Dr. Bahr when he practiced medicine, but I did have the pleasure of his sharp wit and great artistry at the Chiselers and Turners meetings. He had hint of self-deprecating humor when he talked about his work. He made us laugh. His wit was as sharp as his tools. He is the only turner I know with a slip stone in his shirt pocket. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I will miss him and his advise.

Sue and Family:
THE only good thing about getting sick was knowing I was going to see Doc Bahr. Knowing that he would "fix" it, and then we would talk fishing. It was one of those times when I turned him on to Arbutus Lake in Traverse City and you went there many times. He meant alot to his "annual" friends up there as well. I will never forget the gleam in his eye as he saw a bunch of moles on my back and he knew then that the dermatologist never had a chance. "You want me to get those for ya?" Sure Doc, go ahead. Well done. And Thank You.

I was a patient of Dr. Bahr for about a decade up to his retirement. I always appreciated his candid medical assessments, several of which were quite amusing and have become part of my family lore. You have my condolences on your loss. I am sure he will be missed.
