ROSE L. LOTHAMER

ROSE L. LOTHAMER, 85, of New Haven, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, 4:40 p.m., at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born in Hessen Cassel, Ind. She married Harold E. Lothamer, he preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1986. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Haven and the American Legion Auxillary Unit 330 in New Haven. She enjoyed her grandchildren and playing bingo. She was a fry Cook at the former Four Aces Tavern for 22 years and was a homemaker. Surviving are sons, Stanley H. Lothamer of Fort Wayne, Roger J. (Judy) Lothamer of Markle and Gary Lothamer of Monroeville; sisters, Carolyn Roussey of New Haven and Mrs. Marilyn (James) Castleman of Monroeville; brother, Richard (Kathy) Sorg of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren . She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Genevieve Foreman and Evelyn Minerd; and three grandchildren, William, Beth L. and Chris Lothamer. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 at St. John Catholic Church in New Haven with visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Father James Seculoff officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville with Rosay at 7:30 p.m. Burial in St. Louis Besancon Catholic Cemetery, New Haven.
