RUBY M. VAN

RUBY M. VAN, 42, of Ligonier, passed away on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018. Born on Jan. 16, 1976 in Janesville, Wis., she was a daughter of Daniel and Ginger Gehri, who survive. She worked as an Executive Assistant at the William J. and Bonnie L. Hefner Foundation. She enjoyed traveling, going to the lake, spending time with friends, and being out in nature. She could often be found volunteering with animals. She was passionate about horses and sea turtles. She will be remembered as a great mom and someone that cared for others. Surviving family include her husband, Shawn Van; children, Brittani Harris, Jonathan (Sierra) and Alyssa Van; granddaughter, Raelynn Van; her parents; siblings, Danny, Sarah Gehri, Anthony Weseman; two sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; and family by choice, Mike (Jada) Campbell. Service of Sharing is 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46809), with visitation starting at noon.
