Ruth L. Minsel

RUTH L. MINSEL, 91, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, at Parkview Hospital. Born May 8, 1914, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Lon S. and Emma (Denman) Minsel. She was employed by F.W.C.S., as a Educator Reading Specialist for over 40 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of First Wayne St. United Methodist Church, National Educators Association, Indiana Teachers Association and Pi Lamba Theta Sorority. She received her Bachelor's from Ball State and her Masters from University of Wisconsin. Survived by sister, Margaret Emma Long; and nephew, James A. Long II, both of Fort Wayne. Graveside service is 11 a.m. (Indiana Time) Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance, Ohio. Preferred memorials to donor's choice.
